TDC’s super precision polishing technology can be applied to almost all existing materials while achieving roughness of less than Ra1 nanometer and Rz4 nanometer.
With this technology, as long as flatness is 50φ, 30 nanometer finish can be done.
In other words, we can also create parallel surfaces with 0.5 micro meter of parallelism.
Creating flat parallel surfaces means an interval of each surface can be measured precisely within +/-0.5 micro meter for 100 millimeter intervals, and +/-1 micro meter for 500 millimeter intervals.
In addition, having a surface angled, we have managed to realize ±3 sec.
Oddly enough, this technology can create perfect spheres with sphericity of 50 nano meter.
We can apply super mirror polishing to curve surface, free curved line, surface of a cylinder, and surface of a roll. We have achieved to apply repeated super precision mirror polishing on thin gold foil with the length from 50m to 100m.
