The Model-2702 is a 3-axis vibration detector designed to detect seismic activity and transmit accurate signals for safety shutdowns or evacuation triggers in facilities such as manufacturing plants. It synthesizes acceleration in XYZ directions into a vector and outputs the value as a 4–20mA current signal. With a measurement range of 0–400 gal, it is capable of detecting both small-scale and deep-seated seismic vibrations with high precision.
In addition to real-time measurement output, it supports a peak-hold output mode, selectable within 1–10 seconds. The robust design features an IP65-rated aluminum die-cast housing with approximately 1kg of durable construction.
