This light and strong alloy has excellent corrosion resistant properties and is widely used in applications for various fields. ◆ Iwaki Diecast’s aluminum die casting production system We use a launder system, which enables us to always supply clean raw materials, when feeding the molten metal from the melting furnace to the holding furnace. The scrap material, which is generated during trimming, is returned to the melting furnace via an underground conveyor. Our casting equipment is automated featuring a unique manufacturing method that is both highly productive and very safe. This guide is used for equipment parts in automotive parts plants. The material is SKD11 and holds HRC61-63. The important precision parts (with a 1° taper at the tip) are smoothly connected with RZ3.2 by lathing, machining→ hardening→ cylindrical grinding and profile grinding. The surface treatment is hard chrome, maintaining a hardness of about Hv900, and providing abrasion resistance and long life.
