It has become possible to manufacture no-oil-supply products for anyone. The oil-stick is a lubricant which consists of a rich mixture of graphite, molybdenum disulfide and base oil made into a stick-like form. To use, firstly, drill a hole into the sliding source where no-oil-supply is necessary and then incorporate the oil-stick. It is easy to use for anyone and a new way to reduce lubrication problems. The incorporation process is an additional process, meaning, one can apply it to any surface and/or any metal materials. The oil-stick is our own unique product that can be used to turn most metal mold parts into no-oil-supply metal mold parts.

"◆ Issues We used to manufacture parts only by cutting, but we thought to find a method that yield stronger products and less costly. ◆ Our suggestion We offered to including forging in the process that is normally performed only by cutting which lead to quality improvement and cost reduction. ◆ Improvement results ① A boost in strength The brass rod used for forging has a very high viscosity, which led to an increase in strength. ② Work efficiency improvement by reducing man-hours Compared to hot forging, processing such as ""making a hexagonal shape"" and ""pulling out"" can be performed at once, so parts to be cut has decreased. ③ Cost reduction Since the material used for hot forging is smaller compared to cutting, the total material cost has been reduced by 50%."

SUS316L clearly has inferior machinability when compared to SUS304. We chose and prepared a knife suited for SUS316L processing. As shown in the photo, the product has a round form, but through trial and error in setup and construction methods, we were able to finish it virtually entirely by machining. The slope at the top of the photo is where the liquid flows, so a severe surface roughness is required. Using optimal cutting tools and processing conditions, we are able to create a high surface roughness even when liquids flow through it.
