Founded in 2018, Copper Mountain Energy (“CME”), a Vietnam-based firm specializes in investing and developing renewable energy projects, has grown to become the largest developer in distributed energy sector.
At CME, we are committed with our partners to help reduce energy costs, provide alternative power source and contribute to their sustainability goals.
CME is in the process of developing multiple wind farm projects in highlands with expected total capacity of 250MWp.
CME has successfully invested and operated 2 solar farm projects in Long An Province with a total capacity of 141.1MWp.
We still keep planning for more projects including floating solar farm in order to deliver our commitments to sustainability change.
Distributed solar energy, normally installed on buildings’ roof, is a faster, less expensive option to the construction of solar farm. They offer consumers the potential for lower cost, higher service reliability, high power quality, increased energy efficiency, and energy independence.
In Vietnam, CME develops distributed solar energy in both industrial and residential sector across the country and targets to reach to 1GWp by end of 2024.
