The Star Flex (Jaw Coupling) ALS(Y) Type uses a polyurethane elastomer element with a hardness of 90, designed with a pre-compression tight fit structure. This allows for zero backlash operation. Compared to the ALS-R type, the lower hardness of the element reduces axial reaction force. It is suitable for a wide range of applications, including machine tools, hydraulic equipment, pumps, fans, conveying devices, and textile machinery.
