Advanced absolute system with no miscounting
The optical absolute linear encoder system is newly adopted.
The absolute position is read the moment the power is turned on, so the position is not forgotten even when the power is turned off.
The new encoder eliminates the need for origin adjustment when the power is turned on, thus reducing setup time each time.
W-bearing structure for reliable durability
The SA series contact-type displacement sensor has metal bearings on the top and bottom of the measuring section (gas scale).
The bearings are placed in the robust die-cast body to achieve overwhelming durability.
The toughness of this series, which is overwhelmingly resistant to vibration, shock, lateral load, etc., has won the trust of the field.
Automatic stop function for thrust error (overstroke)
Detects spindle overstroke caused by various factors, from human error to accidental strokes.
An error is automatically displayed and output. The change of the circumferential stop structure has dramatically improved lateral load resistance and shock resistance.
Connector specifications that allow cable detachment are adopted.
The use of a screw-type connector makes it easy to detach and reattach the cable while preventing the cable from coming loose.
L-shape type and straight type can be selected according to the application.

The SA series is available in a wide variety of lineups to match the measurement environment and workpiece.
Standard type
Optical absolute linear encoder system with a minimum reading of 0.1µm.
Equipped with an error-detecting LED to enhance reliability.
In addition to the standard 10 mm stroke, 32 mm and 50 mm long strokes are available for large parts with large gap or large tolerance.
This further enhances workpiece flexibility on the same line.
A low measuring force type is available on some models for use with soft parts or parts that may be damaged by contact.
Air purge type
The advanced air purge specification realizes ultimate environmental resistance performance.
Air is supplied to the detector body to increase the internal pressure, preventing foreign matter from entering from the outside and greatly improving environmental resistance.
The air purge system is effective in harsh environments where the detector is exposed to highly penetrating oil, coolant, cutting fluid, and other liquids.
Air-driven type
Pneumatic compatibility greatly reduces machine design and realizes a system on short notice.
Air drive enables the spindle to be raised and lowered, simplifying design control of the machine process and contributing to cost reduction.
