M.C.S. Steel Public Company Limited. is the leading steel fabricating Company in Thailand. Established in 1992, M.C.S. has more than 30 years of successful experiences in fabrication of high-rise steel structure building, power plant, bridge & general steel works.
With the most advanced manufacturing equipments, high standards & punctuality, we are now able to provide & export steel structure works for various projects worldwide, mainly in Japan with 50,000 tons per annual.
In a designated space of 3,000 sq.m. together with crane lifting capacity of 25 tons and a shotblasting 2m x 3m machine, M.C.S. can handle shotblasting and painting continuously.
The Preassembly Areas are 40 meters wide and 200 meters long and 55 meters wide and 200 meters long for assembling big steel structures of the kind used in power plants, bridges and terminals. The stock yard has two cranes, one with a capacity of between 30, 40 and 50 tons which is 16 meters tall.
The preassembly area is used for finished products as well. Each product is separately arranged according to its project and in order of production code, thus allowing for easy and convenient transportation and inspection of such products. There are four stockyards encompassing an area of 40,000 square meters.
Automatic Boring and Automatic Beam Cutting
Over 2,000 square meters is allocated to the Boring Department, which contains two Automatic Boring Machines, two Sawing Machines, one Shot Blast Machine and one Automatic Taper Cutting Machine. We can cut and bore at least 2,000 tons a month.
Automatic marking Gusset Plate and drilling sleeve pipe beam
Over 500 square meters is allocated to the Marking Department for marking gusset plate and drilling sleeve pipe beam. We had one marking gusset plate and drilling sleeve pipe beam machine installed. We can mark positions for gusset plate and drill sleeve pipe beam at least 2,000 tons a month.
All parts are manufactured by the company in order to maintain uniform quality standards. Over 3,200 square meters is allocated to parts production.

We are able to produce at least 5,000 parts each day.
The area allocated to the production of Build up Box Columns is more than 9,000 square meters and contains: one CNC cutting machine, three built up box machines, two gantry auto tandem CO2 Welding machines, four gantry auto tandem SAW corner welding machines, one Submerge Welding machine for large box and bridge box welding; eight Electro Slag Welding machines; and eight auto GMAW welding machines. MCS has a diaphragm production line which contains two Band Sawing machines, two Milling machines and three Facing Machines (comprising one 3-meter and two 1.50-meter machines); two Spindle Drilling Machines and a 1,000-ton Press Machine. We are able to produce 10 or more box columns each day or approximately 2,000 – 3,000 tons of products in a month. We can also produce a box for a bridge in a size range of 1.50 – 3 meters and weighing up to 100 tons.
The area allocated to the production of Build up H is approximately 9,000 square meters and contains a range of machinery, including: two 30-head planner cutting machines; two CNC cutting machines; two Plasma cutting machines; three automatic build up machines; and five 20-head LINCOLN submerge tandem welding machines.
Our ability to produce steel beams by assembling Build up H at sizes between 250-3,200 mm., with height and width flanges of up to 1,000 mm. and flange plates with thicknesses of up to 80 mm. is unrivalled, allowing us to produce over 4,000 tons of products a month.
