Power Take OFF or PTO is a mechanical gearbox that attached to the truck transmissions. It plays an important role in transferring power from the vehicle engine to other components, especially hydraulic pump in Thailand. The Power Take Off transmitting power in the form of rotating shaft.
Power Take Off can be mounted anywhere in the transmission depending on the transmission model. Generally, it is mounted at the side such as, Hino and Isuzu transmission, the Power Take Off aperture is on the left of the transmission. Whereas, ZF transmission, the Power Take Off aperture is on the rear side.
