A Water Tube Boiler is a boiler in which water circulates in tubes heated externally by the fire. The water tube boilers are used for high-pressure boilers. Fuel is burned inside the furnace, creating hot gas which heats water in the steam-generating tubes. The GETABEC water tube Boiler is a natural circulation boiler without any forced water flow, designed under the license of ERK Eckrohrkessel GmbH, Germany.

In order to generate superheated steam, GETABEC three-pass boilers can be equipped with several different superheater systems.
For Lower temperature superheated steam ( superheating by 40 to 60 K ), the superheater is installed within the front reversing chamber. These superheaters also called “steam dryers”, are operated without temperature control. When starting up the boiler, this arrangement does not need any particular measures, such as cooling the superheater or any flue gas side bypasses, as the flue gas temperature in the front reversing chamber is significantly below the scaling temperature of the material used for the superheater tubes.
For Higher steam temperatures , the superheater is installed within the rear reversing chamber. As a result, higher steam temperatures are possible. These superheaters are delivered with various types of temperature control systems. Due to the high temperature in that area, specific safety measures, such as operating on the lowest burner load or cooling during start-up, must be taken before the boiler can be connected to the grid to protect the superheated tubes.
HWO Single Flame Tube Design
Performances of up to 15.6 MW

HWO-D Double Flame Tube Design
Performances of up to 32 MW
Large scale heating centres and cogeneration units can only be built with large Double Flame Tube hot water generators. Like the steam generators of the HDO-D series, the hot water generators of the HWO-D series have flue gas passes that are entirely separated from each other so that the requirements for low-emission combustion and single-flame operation are met.
GETABEC Thermal oil heater is the most effective and most efficient heat transfer equipment. The use of high-temperature thermal oil made on a mineral oil basis or synthetically as transfer media up an outlet temperature of 350 °C at 10 bar eliminates problems typical for water-steam operation. Our Thermal oil heater is designed as The Three Pass design with forced circulation. Its system operates excellently, safely, reliably and is guaranteed to last for many years.
