D22 Refrigerant is an energy-saving air conditioning product from the "CFC-Free Refrigerant Safety Promotion Association." It has been used in over 5,000 units in Japan over five years. D22 offers low pressure but maintains cooling efficiency, reducing the compressor's load significantly. It shows immediate energy savings post-installation, ranging from 15% to over 40%, depending on the current system. D22 can replace R22, R32, R410A refrigerants, requiring only about one-third of the original quantity. Notably, it has a minimal environmental impact with an ozone depletion potential of less than 5 units, significantly lower than R22 and R32.
