■Summary
PhoenixTM's high temperature resistant mineral insulated thermocouples are high quality temperature measurement instruments suitable for use in the 1000°C to 1350°C range. Compliant with ANSI MC96.1 Special Limits Specification or IEC 60584 Class 1 for performance in harsh environments. It is especially designed to withstand use in high-temperature environments, and uses oxidation-resistant and strong nickel-chromium alloy (UHT Alloy) as the sheath material.
■Features
This thermocouple has an insulated hot junction (HJ) to protect against electrical interference from heating elements in the furnace. A variety of MI (mineral insulation) diameters (0.5 to 3.0mm, standard 1.6mm) are available to provide flexibility depending on your application needs. There are also design options with sheathed mineral insulated thermocouples terminated with high temperature plugs and PTFE tails, making it easier to manage high volume thermocouple installations.
■Specifications
The products are manufactured from high temperature nickel chromium iron alloy (HT Alloy - Inconel®) or ultra high temperature nickel chromium alloy (UHT Alloy), offering corrosion resistance, heat resistance, high strength and good processability. Available in 1.6mm and 2.0mm wire diameters and can include options for AMS2750E and CQI-9 compliant calibration certificates.
