PTB-M manual tablet hardness tester is ideal for measuring tablet hardness, compliant with USP <1217> and EP <2.9.8> standards. It allows for easy manual operation to accurately measure sample hardness, with results displayed on an LED screen and data storage via printer connection.

The PTB-M is a device designed for manually measuring tablet hardness, primarily for the pharmaceutical industry. This instrument allows tablets to be manually secured, and by turning a knob to apply pressure, the hardness is measured until the breaking point. The results are displayed in Newton (N), Kilopond (Kp), StrongCobb (Sc), and Pound (Lb), with one-touch unit switching available. The device can be powered by both batteries and an adapter, and results can be printed by connecting to the PT-RP80 report printer.
