Demaji screw and barrel are premium-grade components designed for injection molding, extrusion, and blow molding machines. Made from high-grade alloy steels compliant with Japanese and European standards, the screws and barrels feature advanced Nitride or Bi-Metallic (Tungsten Carbide) surface treatments for superior wear and corrosion resistance. - Bi-Metallic coating with American Kennametal Tungsten Carbide (Hardness HRC65, 3mm depth)
- Nitride-treated hardness HRC55–58 with 0.5–0.7mm depth
- Suitable for plastic materials with 10–50% glass fiber content
- Supports halogen-free materials with +50% GF
- Diameter range: Ø18 mm to Ø400 mm
- Compatible with injection, blow, extrusion, single and twin-screw systems
- 3–5 times longer service life compared to Nitride treatment
