Torsion / twist forming, as the name implies, refers to a processing method in which a metal material is twisted. This technology enables the creation of sophisticated designs and elegant lines that are difficult to achieve with flat material alone.
There are two primary approaches to torsion / twist forming.
One method involves fixing both ends of the sheet and applying rotational force from one side or applying rotational forces in opposite directions from both ends, to introduce torsion into the material.
Another method utilizes dedicated dies to impart controlled twisting to the material with high precision and repeatability.
