IGES2NPB, also known as the IGES Converter, is a data converter that takes IGES files — a common intermediate CAD file format — exported from the major 3D CAD systems used by customers and converts them in a single pass into a specialized format that can be used in EasyProgramming for editing and machining simulation. The converter extracts the necessary centerline data for pipe bending from entities such as straight lines, circular arcs, and B-splines within the IGES file and transforms them into the format required for the NPB series pipe bending CAM workflow
