In the past, it was common to build a hob cutter based on a gear dimension; however, we have managed to process gear cutting machining with similar preciseness as a finished gear using our hob cutter and gear analysis software (Dongtai). In other words, gear shape correction on a gear mentioned in the above with a gear grinder will produce a finished quality gear.

There are two advantages: one, assembling jig time, it used to take 1.5 to 2 months, is reduced to 0. Two, the cost of producing a jig is reduced to 0.

This approach is very effective in such ways that analysis, gear cutting machining and grinding can be done within as fast as a day.
