Ni-W-P plating performed by electroless plating.
(It is a ternary alloy of nickel, tungsten, and phosphorus.)
It has better chemical resistance than general electroless plating,
The surface is passivated.
Due to the passivation film, it has excellent mold releasability for molded resin products such as rubber.
It is used for molds such as fluororubber. In some cases, the release agent is not used.
Maximum processable dimensions (mm): 800 x 800 x 400 up to 50 kg
<Features>
-It has excellent film thickness uniformity and can be plated even on a tubular inner diameter.
-It has better mold releasability than industrial chrome plating and has the same hardness as industrial chrome.
-Performance such as hardness is maintained even at high temperatures.
-No environmentally regulated substances such as heavy metals are used.
<Characteristics>
● Corrosion resistance: No corrosion of the substrate is observed even after 1,000 hours of continuous salt spray test.
● Hardness: It is about 580HV in the precipitated state, but it becomes about 800HV after heat treatment.
● Materials: Various materials can be processed. Please contact us for details.
● Reprocessing: Even steel and copper alloys can be reprocessed by peeling off the plating without damaging the base metal.
<< Parts to be processed >>
・ Resin molding mold containing GF (glass filler)
・ Longer life of BeCu (beryllium copper) alloy molds
・ Rubber molding dies for peroxide vulcanization, etc.
