Chimera handles various shapes with 5-axis machining machine.
This is an inducer used for a rocket engine turbo pump.
It was processed at a 5-axis machining center, but there were various difficulties before it was actually formed.

<Model>
We faced hardship at creating a 3D model according to the theoretical value that the customer wanted.

<Processing>
The hardship to process it according to the completed 3D model, moreover at:
・ How to not chip the edges
・ How to not let the surface get chattering
・ How to process so that the surface position matches during additional machining

How we overcame these hardships is a secret, however, succesfully machined parts are used for testing the rocket engine and gave good results!
We are currently making further improvements.
The day to fly into space is near!
It feels like a real ""Shitamachi Rocket"" (Japanese serial drama) lol
