Conventional technologies/differences from other companies
We cut a mass of Nb (Niobium) by a wire cut electric discharge machine.
Because Nb have mechanical shock-resistant, these parts are thought to be used in X-ray machine.
φ0.2mm wire was used.
The result are satisfactory.
We successfully cut until 0.05mm width.
But machining time took twice than usual.
We also machine cut to Nb by a machining center.
