Glass Etching Treatment
◆Characteristics
Immediately after cutting glass or grinding with grinder, strength of glass is weakening due to micro-cracking. In other words, glass became fragile than usual.
By applying chemical etching to the surface of cut section or ground section, we have managed to remove the micro-cracking, leading to the increase of strength of glass.
Transverse Intensity: 1.5 ~ 2.0 times increased after etching.
