We would like to introduce here our progressive die manufacturing technology for automotive transmission clutch plates.

In a car, the "transmission" transmits the driving force from the engine to the wheels.
It is composed of gears and shafts of various sizes, and its "clutches" and "torque converter" are important to transmit the driving force.
The "clutch" is responsible for connecting and disconnecting the driving force by pushing on or separating two friction plates facing each other.

[ Features ]

- Shear surface ratio of 80% on outer diameter
- Number of shots per minute 2 to 3 times higher than with a fineblanking press.
- Composed of a master die set with inserts in order to reduce the die manufacturing cost.

- Workpiece material: JSC270C-8B or SAE1008
- Sheet thickness: 1.6±0.005mm
- Product size: Φ141.7mm
- Workpiece material tensile strength: 35kgf/mm²
- Production speed: 70 shots per minute
- Die: Progressive 1 cavity die
