Reducing the process steps by 5-axis machining center.
After NC lathe machining, we processed it with one chuck at a 5-axis machining center. Before we introduce the 5-axis machining center, we used jig for processing in vertical machining center. It took a long time to set up the arrangement.
After we introduced the 5-axis machining center, we can process using one chuck, and the setup time can be reduced significantly.
Previously, after machining center processing, there was some parts that finished by electric discharge machining, but now we also succeeded in reducing the electric discharge machining process!
