We are particular about the continuance half cut (kiss cut) press blanking of hard coat films, which are well known material to be used as anti-glass-scattering film.
Ordinary anti-scattering films consist of following:
・film layer
・glue layer
・mount separator (silicon coated PET film)
When a JPTEC pasting robot is used to past anti-glass-scattering film onto a glass repeatedly, there is necessarily of roll winding the products which require half cutting mount separator.
For half cut, precise adjustment is necessary to cut film and glue layers while leaving mount separator uncut.
However, mount separator for anti-scatter films usually have the thickness of “38μ,” which is considered to be very slim. A slit processing requirement difference, press blade applied too deep or shallow can result in cutting failure, PET burr, or glue burr, etc. In other words, it is very difficult to process.
OITS has been analyzing a variety of material process requirements and hardness, types, and thickness of the hard coat layer through R&D to introduce the best process requirement for an anti-scattering film.
Our unique process technique can provide stable half cut on 38μ mount separator repeatedly.
We have been mass producing such anti-scattering film from a day when glass panels began to be applied to cell phones and smart phones.
We can match a diverse pasting requirement as well as a supply in sheets.
