MATERIALS
Spray Dryers
Small spray dryers for testing can handle testing and trials of all materials. Our facilities are also equipped with large spray dryers to handle stabilized mass-produced raw material purification.
MOLDING
Press Molding
We have expertise in mass-produced molding with dies using mechanical presses, hydraulic presses and more. In addition, we are challenging new limits for complex shapes with Chiba Ceramic's very own techniques.
Extrusion Molding
Suitable for long products, pipes, products with two holes and more. We have a large assortment of products in all standard sizes.
CUTTING
Green Processing
We cut materials on lathes and NC lathes before sintering. The price can be set lower with this process than with grinding. (Consult with us about precise measurements!)
FIRING
Mass Production and Testing
From mass production with a continuous firing furnace to prototypes made with a patch firing furnace, we handle a wide range of output levels, from single units to mass production.
Additionally, we have reducing atmosphere furnaces and vacuum firing furnaces to handle a variety of materials.
SECONDARY PROCESSING
Grinding and Special Processing
We can handle processing of all ceramic materials after firing.
We handle surface grinding, cutting, mirror surfaces, cylinders & inner/outer circumferences, boring, ultrasonic machining, laser processing, metalization, glass seals, flux rubies and more.

This is a corundum (a-AI203) crystal, the same as a sapphire crystal. It has high machine strength and only a diamond is harder. It has excellent wear resistance, thermal conduction and heat resistance and is extremely stable chemically. Electrically, it also has superior insulation against high temperatures and high-frequency qualities.
The photo is of highly pure translucent polycrystalline alumina.
It is extremely close to alumina's theoretical density (3.987/cm3) and retains the traits of highly pure alumina.

Zirconia (ZrO2) becomes stable at room temperature and forms a solid solution in a cubic or tetragonal system when yttrium and other elements are added and heated. Partly stable zirconium is used in cutting, pulverizing and other parts.
