Environmental Policy
As a worldwide enterprise, we, MG Co., Ltd, shall continue to work toward preserving the environment for our future development as being placed in the plastics industry.
1. We shall engage in environmental preservation activities, including both continuous improvement and prevention of pollution.
2. We shall comply with legal requirements for the environment which are applicable or we have consented to.
3. We shall establish environmental goals and targets each financial year, and we shall review them regularly or as necessary.
4. We shall keep all personnel, working for or in our organization, informed about our environmental policy.
5. We shall make public all information concerning our environment policy so that the general public can have access to it.

| Founded in 1968 |
| November 1968 – Started business in Furukawa city. |
| September 1970 – Started Meiji Gousei Sendai factory in Kagitori Sendai. |
| March 1972 – Built new Sendai factory in Rifu-cho. |
| October 1972 – Built new Yamagata factory. |
| April 1974 – Completed Yamagata factory No.1 in Kawanishi-machi. |
| April 1974 – Sendai factory received UL certification. |
| February 1979 – Changed corporate name 10 years after founding to MG Co., Ltd. |
| March 1982 – Completed factory at head office in the suburbs of Sendai. |
| May 1985 – Yamoto factory is completed. |
| September 1987 – α-MG (Sendai factory No.3) is completed. |
| October 1987 – Established M. G. INTERNATIONAL in Atlanta, GA. |
| May 1992 – MG gains control of Showa Giken Co., Ltd. |
| April 1994 – Established M. G. (HK) Co., Ltd. (Hong Kong). |
| March 1995 – Established Renchuang Dianzi factory (China). |
| April 1997 – Completed factory No. 2 in Atlanta, GA for MG INTERNATIONAL. |
| February 1999 – Began business with Stanley Electric Co., Ltd. |
| November 1999 – Acquired ISO 9002 certification (factory at head office/α-MG). |
| June 2000 – Began business with NEC Saitama, Ltd. |
| January 2003 – Updated to ISO 9001 (2000 version) certification (factory at head office/α-MG). |
| January 2004 – Yamagata factory acquired ISO 9001 certification. |
| January 2006 – Acquired ISO 14001 certification (for all MG factories, MGT and Showa Giken). |
