Metal prism grooving used to make light guide plates is one application example of ultra-fine machining technology. The picture shows precision rolled plastic plates made from mold components that were V-grooved at a 500 nano level with a width of 1 μm. We supply these plates as disposable cell count plates to the medical device industry.
