These products are made of A7075 Super Duralumin, which is prone to residual strain from machining. To be within rigorous geometric tolerances, many manufacturers use annealing and grinding when working with A7075, but since annealing causes a chemical reaction that makes the material weaker, we don’t recommend this approach. Another disadvantage is the color variation it is prone to during alumite processing. Maruichi Machine can provide ways of being within the drawing’s geometric tolerances by using only milling whenever possible, without annealing or grinding.
