When the required groove becomes narrower, the diameter of the groove machining drill needs to decrease respectively. When you try to process a deep groove at the same time, the shake of the drill will increase. This makes it difficult to process stably.

Therefore our company managed to maintain a constant temperature. Together with attaching a high-speed spindle of Nakanishi to the machining center (TK40S 6000MV) Joyofuji Kogyo is able to stably process narrow grooves with a width of 1.2mm and a depth of 10mm. On top of that, we realize our products with a final parallelism accuracy of 10µm.

Such grooves are used for applications in the textile industry. When making fibers, a small amount of liquid flow needs to be provided through small grooves.
