This is an example of challenging the limits of thinness in machining to meet customer demands.

A customer requested us to achieve weight reduction for rotor covers, and we conducted a prototype.
The customer has been setting the conventional design limit at a thickness of 0.5mm.

And then,we prototyped at a thickness of 0.2mm,surpassing its limit.
Finally,ｗe outperformed compepitor's ones by reducing the weight of the rotor cover.

We achieved a smooth finish close to a ground surface using only cutting processes, while keeping costs down.

The dimensional accuracy of the inner and outer diameters is ±0.01.
