Ultrasonic Viscometer for Asphalt

Using the contactor attached to the tip of the piezoelectric resonator, this viscometer can easily measure the “penetration,” an important characteristic of the asphalt, from the “amount of change in the resonant resistance” when pressed against the test sample under a fixed load for a fixed time.
The sensor section is compact and replaceable, and small volume test samples can also be measured.
The hardening process of the test sample can be monitored in real time.
