"OOPARTS-002" is a vase that expresses the beauty of metal in aluminum by carving it out of a solid block, shining beautifully and delicately in response to light, making flowers and plants look beautiful.
The capitals and bodies of columns used in ancient architecture express the strength of plants that continue to grow toward the sky by carving the shapes of plants. In addition, grooves called fluting are carved into the surface of the pillars, and their light and shadows amplify the three-dimensional effect of the pillars, emphasizing the verticality as well as the graceful rhythm.
"OOPARTS-002" inherits that spirit, and by cutting out aluminum to have cutting marks like fluting, instead of carved plants in ancient columns, the actual flowers are accentuated.
The cutting marks of the end mill are used as they are for the surface pattern, and it shines beautifully when it receives light.

This cutting mark is made using 5-axis machining, which is simple but suppresses chattering of the end mill and is processed while adjusting the angle that shines most beautifully.
