Based on Ordinance on Industrial Safety and Health; Electricity Business Act, The ministerial ordinance that establishes technical standards concerning electrical equipment; and according to the magnitude of the voltage, there are three types of voltage: low voltage, high voltage, and special high voltage.

DC (direct current): electricity generated from batteries, solar cells, DC generators, etc. used in electric railways, DC welding machines, electroplating, electric vehicles, etc.

Voltage type:
-Extra high voltage: Over 7000V for both DC and AC
-High voltage: DC over 750V and below 7000V, AC Over 600V and below 7000V
-Low voltage: DC below 750V, AC below 600V

Separated by Volt power, the qualifications for construction also change, and safety measures are required.
