TORSION SPRINGS
Wire Diameter: Ø0.30~3.50mm
These are coil springs that experience torsional moments around their coil axis. There are two methods for winding the coils: winding in and winding out. When subjected to repeated loads, it is preferable to use the winding in method as it reduces the tensile stress that occurs on the inside of the coil.
Additionally, when using a guide rod to prevent buckling, it's important to consider the guide rod's diameter since torsion springs experience changes in coil diameter when under load. Conversely, torsion springs with significant changes in coil diameter can be utilized as one-way clutches for transmitting and blocking rotational movement.
