CrN (chromium nitride) coating
"DULA" is CrN (chromium nitride) and has heat resistance and abrasion resistance of about 800 ° C. In the case of wet hard chrome plating, the Vickers hardness is about 1000, but in the case of CrN film by PVD coating, a hard film of about 1600 is obtained and it has excellent wear resistance.
It also has excellent welding resistance with non-ferrous metals, and can be applied to, for example, surface coating of copper materials on cutting tools.
