A next-generation car air conditioner refrigerant that replaces R-134a.
It is non-fluorinated with a very low Global Warming Potential (GWP) of less than 1, reducing 99.9% compared to R-134a (GWP 1430).
R-1234yf has an atmospheric lifetime of just 11 days, significantly shorter than R-134a's 13 years or CO2's over 500 years, meaning it does not persist in the atmosphere. Therefore, there is no obligation for gas recovery.
