The MAKINO V56i vertical machining center is a high-performance machining center specialized for precision mold machining. Its design, with the spindle placed along the X and Z axes and the table along the Y axis, eliminates overhang and keeps the machining point close to the guide, minimizing lost motion. The adoption of a sliding guide method and the quenching and polishing of an integrated cast body enhance vibration damping and rigidity, maintaining precision over long periods.

Ball Screw Core Cooling: By circulating cooling fluid in sync with the bed temperature, it prevents heat generation during high-speed movements, maintaining stable accuracy.
X-Axis Guide Surface Cooling: Circulating cooling oil inside the saddle in sync with the machine body temperature prevents heat generation on the X-axis during long, high-speed movements.
Advanced Spindle Temperature Control: MAKINO's unique core cooling and under-race lubrication system minimize thermal distortion and reduce vibration during high-speed rotations, improving the quality of the machined surface.
