ISO-EcoTurn is an innovative turning insert series from Tungaloy that combines cost savings with high cutting performance through size reduction. Despite its compact design, the inserts maintain the cutting capabilities of standard-sized inserts, enabling productivity improvements while reducing costs. The series supports a wide range of materials, including steel, cast iron, stainless steel, heat-resistant alloys, and titanium alloys.

- Economy through compact inserts
By reducing insert size, material costs are lowered, and tool replacement frequency is minimized, resulting in overall machining cost reductions.
- High cutting performance
The insert thickness and chipbreaker geometry are equivalent to standard-sized inserts, providing the same cutting performance for machining depths up to 3 mm. This ensures stable chip control and precise machining.
- Flexible holder design
A cartridge set for holding the compact inserts is available, allowing the use of ISO-EcoTurn inserts with existing standard holders without the need for holder replacement. This reduces tool inventory and enables flexible tool utilization.

- Diverse chip shapes and grades
New insert shapes such as GNMG and FNMG have been added to address a wide range of machining needs. Additionally, various grades, including the latest CVD T9200 series, are available to provide optimal solutions for different materials and machining conditions.
