Centerless grinding is a method of grinding the periphery of a workpiece by adjusting the rotation and feed of the workpiece while supporting it between a fixed support blade, a rotating regulating wheel and a grinding wheel. The workpiece does not need to be mounted on the grinder, and the system can be used for small-lot to high-volume production. In addition, there is no deflection of the workpiece due to its own weight during processing, and the grinding accuracy can be maintained uniformly.
