The Sentrac Strix is a high-sensitivity leak detector that uses diluted hydrogen gas (95% nitrogen, 5% hydrogen) as a tracer gas. Hydrogen, present in air at only 0.5 ppm, is minimally affected by environmental interference, enabling highly accurate leak testing. Additionally, compared to helium, hydrogen gas is more cost-effective and readily available, making it an economical and practical solution. Its sensor is designed to avoid false reactions to gases other than hydrogen, eliminating environmental gas interference. The system supports a wide range of testing needs, from portable models to those compatible with automated systems.
