We introduce a production system that combines mass-production copper sheet processing for automotive parts with an auto catcher system.
In the video, copper sheets are fed into the press machine, where high-speed processing is performed. The auto catcher then reliably receives the finished components and discharges them in an orderly manner.
A key feature of this process is its ability to maintain high dimensional accuracy of ±0.1 mm, even in mass production volumes ranging from 10,000 to 100,000 units.
When processing copper materials—which are soft and easily deformed—it is essential to stabilize processing conditions and prevent damage to the products.
This is where the auto catcher plays a crucial role. By preventing deformation and impact marks caused by products falling from the mold, it contributes to both improved safety and enhanced product quality.
★ What is an auto catcher?
An auto catcher is a device that automatically grips, receives, and discharges products after press processing.
By eliminating the need for manual handling, it significantly improves operator safety while also helping to stabilize product quality in mass production.
For automotive components that require high dimensional accuracy in large-volume production, the combination of automated transfer systems and high-precision press processing is indispensable.
