We introduce a steel plate manufactured from SPHC material (t = 3.2) using progressive press processing.
Countersinking is performed directly within the progressive die, eliminating the need for secondary machining with a drilling machine.
This in-die countersinking approach enables process reduction, cost savings, and stable dimensional accuracy.
★ What is countersinking?
Countersinking is a machining process in which the upper portion of a hole is formed into a conical shape so that screw heads or bolts do not protrude from the surface.
It is essential for improving product safety and appearance quality, but is generally considered a high-difficulty operation and is often performed as a secondary process.
At Shinei Kogyo, precise countersink shapes are formed directly inside the press die, ensuring stable quality and high productivity even in mass production.
Equipped with 45-ton to 150-ton presses, servo presses, multi-spindle tapping machines, and NC lathes, we flexibly support both prototyping and mass production of architectural hardware, structural components, and fixing brackets.
For steel plate processing that achieves labor savings through in-die countersinking, trust Shinei Kogyo.
