We introduce pre-inserted nuts manufactured from SPCC material (thickness: 1.6–2.3 mm).
By performing tapping directly inside the progressive die, conventional secondary tapping processes are eliminated, resulting in higher production efficiency and improved accuracy.
This method integrates press processing and tapping into a single operation, reducing the number of process steps while suppressing thread positional misalignment and variations in tapping accuracy.
★ What is a progressive die?
A progressive die is a die system in which a single metal strip is sequentially fed through multiple processes—such as blanking, bending, and tapping—all performed automatically.
Because there is no need to reposition the product between processes, it is ideal for components requiring high repeatability and dimensional accuracy.
At Shinei Kogyo we are equipped with press machines ranging from 45 to 150 tons, servo presses, multi-spindle tapping machines, spot welding machines, and NC lathes.
We support a wide range of materials, including steel, SS400, SPHC, and stainless steel (SUS), and can handle production from small-lot prototyping to mass production for architectural parts and structural hardware.
For high-quality nut processing with reduced steps through in-die tapping, trust Shinei Kogyo.
