Packing with a V-shaped cross section. This type of packing is used in parts such as hydraulic cylinders and valve shafts with multiple layers depending on amount of applied pressure. Shape can be chosen from a VH type, VL type or D type according to the applied pressure. The PTFE material are created by lathing or molded without machining to save money on large orders. PTFE with glass or carbon can also be selected for high-temperature or high-pressure usage conditions. The packing will withstand temperatures up to 120°C (PTFE only) or 200°C (PTFE with filler), and pressures up to 29.4MPa.
