However, according to JIS standard, the measurement of sound absorption coefficient and transmission loss by the general reverberation room method requires large test sample of around 10m2.
We have installed sound absorption coefficient and transmission loss measurement equipment with 500mm x 500mm sound absorption coefficient and 600mm x 600mm transmission loss,
which is about 1/40 for an equipment that conforms to the JIS standard.
It enables a small amount of test sample measurement, so it is possible to perform comparative tests of more materials.
We can cooperate in the development of new sound absorbing and insulating materials."
